dc.description.abstract	Стаття присвячена вивченню обрядової фразеології в англійській мові. Наголошено, що етнолінгвістичні дослідження в будь-якому випадку є комплексними, спрямовані на опис будь-якого фрагмента традиційної картини світу за свідченнями різних культурних кодів, або на виявлення специфіки відбиття духовної культури в мові. Підкреслено важливість етнолінгвістичного підходу при дослідженні семантики обрядових фразеологічних одиниць. Зазначено, що обрядова фразеологія є комплексною науковою дисципліною, що досліджує „план змісту” етнокультури, народної психології, міфології, формою втілення для якого стало слово, предмет, обряд, зображення. Акцентовано увагу на обрядових фразеологізмах-сполученнях, у яких значною мірою зберігається початкове значення слів-компонентів, що допомагає у з’ясуванні загального значення цілої фрази. Зауважено, що в системі наукових знань обрядофразеологія, як і етнолінгвістика, розташована на перетині дослідницьких векторів фольклористики, етнографії, культурології, соціології і, звичайно ж, власне лінгвістики.	uk_UA
dc.description.sponsorship	The article is devoted to the study of ceremonial phraseology in the English. It is emphasized that ethnolinguistic research is in any case complex, aimed at describing any fragment of the traditional picture of the world according to the testimonies of various cultural codes, or to reveal the specifics of the reflection of the spiritual culture in the language. Special attention is given to deviations of semantically stability within the structure of phraseological units and to transformations, which appear when such deviations occur. Our research investigates semantic transformations paying special attention to the notion of semantic stability as transformation presupposes modifications not only in semantic but also structural, grammatical and other components of the existing phraseological units. Any transformation is a purposeful modification of a phraseological unit. The importance of ethnolinguistic approach during the research of ritual phraseological units semantics is emphasized. It is noted that ceremonial phraseology is a complex scientific discipline that explores the „plan of content” of ethnoculture, folk psychology, mythology, the form of embodiment of which was the word, subject, rite, image. The emphasis is on ceremonial phraseological unit-combinations, which largely preserve the original meaning of word-components, which helps in clarifying the general meaning of an entire phrase. It is noted that in the system of scientific knowledge ceremonial phraseology, as well as ethnolinguistics, is located at the intersection of research vectors of folklore, ethnography, cultural studies, sociology and, of course, linguistics. This understanding allows us to consider cultural connotation as an important component of the linguistic view of the world. The prospect of our study is to analyze the phraseological fund of the language with the cultural element from the position of connotation category, because the phraseological units that verbalize the concept presented in the work. This work further can be used in lexicological studies, stylistics and methodology.	uk_UA
