dc.description.abstract	Мета статті – подати та проаналізувати документи, якими українські посли в Австрійському Парламенті намагалися відстояти права української мови як навчальної в народних і середніх школах Східної Галичини. Питання української мови як навчальної в народних і середніх школах Східної Галичини були предметом обговорення послів Австрійського Парламенту та слугували підставою для центрального уряду запровадити українську мову в шкільництво.	uk_UA
dc.description.sponsorship	It was possible to do this in the y way – to deprive Ukrainians of the opportunity to speak their native language. Since the only institution for the nurturing and development of the Ukrainian language was schooling, local officials issued instructions and adopted at the meetings of the Halychyna Sejm the laws that introduced the Polish language as an educational one in all the national and secondary schools of Eastern Halychyna. The Ukrainian intelligentsia could not get the right to speak its language in Halychyna and was forced to turn to the central government. The issue of the Ukrainian language to be the language of education was the subject of consideration at many meetings of the Austrian Parliament. The purpose of the article is to submit and analyze documents that Ukrainian ambassadors in the Austrian Parliament tried to use in order to defend the rights of the Ukrainian language as an educational one in the folk and secondary schools of Eastern Halychyna.	uk_UA
