Yu.; Pachev, S. I. The article discusses the scientific experience of using the „alternative history” method in the study of the history of the Second World War. The authors revealed the peculiarities of the methodology for applying this method in world historical science until the middle of the twentieth century, showed its research capabilities and shortcomings. The features of the use of the method of alternative history in the modern historiography of the Second World War are revealed. The purpose of this article is to compare the main methodological approaches to the application of the method of „alternative history” in the historiography of World War II, to determine the degree of their appropriateness and correctness. To achieve this goal, the following tasks are set: to consider the genesis of the method of „alternative history”, to establish and reveal its key provisions, the algorithm of use, application and features of use in British and Russian historiography. At the present stage, the method of alternative history makes it possible to significantly expand the cognitive possibilities in the study of the history of the Second World War. Its use was pioneered by representatives of Anglo-American historiography. In the post-Soviet space, this method was established much later. Zhiryakov O. Yu., Pachev S. I. У статті розглянуто особливості синтаксису простого речення на матеріалі поезії малих форм Євгена Маланюка. Проаналізовано та встановлено, що до стилістичних ресурсів простого речення належать особливі випадки вживання однорідності, різновиди простих моделей речення, наявність різноманітних ускладнювальних компонентів. Найвиразнішими синтаксичними конструкціями в поетичних текстах Євгена Маланюка є неповні речення. Поет нерідко використовує зворотній порядок слів: він переставляє члени речення для того, щоб викликати емоційні переживання (позитивні чи негативні почуття) у читача, акцентувати його увагу на конкретному члені речення, уміло послуговується продуктивними моделями речень, однак переважають прості речення з ускладненими компонентами. У результаті дослідження з’ясовано особливості синтаксичностилістичної організації мови поетичних творів: специфіка координації підмета і присудка, випадки зображального використання однорідних членів речення, виражальні можливості простого речення у поетичних текстах. Результатом проведеної роботи стало виокремлення особливостей синтаксично-стилістичної організації поетичного тексту автора. Результати дослідження дають змогу оцінити внесок поета у систему синтаксичних ресурсів українського художнього мовлення та визначити закономірності й тенденції розвитку літературної мови. Вивчення синтаксичного мовного аспекту поета Євгена Маланюка висвітлює індивідуальну неповторність поета. У перспективі вбачається дослідження синтаксису складного речення Є. Маланюка та вивчення особливостей мови публіцистики поета як унікального явища в історії української літературної мови. Подворчан А. З. V.; Shtanhret, A. Z. The article attempts to investigate the peculiarities of using of occasionalisms in the language of advertising. A thorough analysis of selected occasionalisms was performed on the level of phonetics, semantics and syntax. It has been proven that alliteration is the most often used means to increase the intonational expressiveness of an advertising slogan, as illustrated by numerous examples from newspaper articles. The analysis of belonging of occasional words to a certain part of the language has shown that they mostly belong to the class of nouns, adjectives and verbs with a positive connotation, thus contributing to the expressiveness of an advertising slogan. It has been confirmed that every occasionalism has been created for a certain advertising slogan by violating the language norms of word formation. Most occasional words have been formed by derivation, mainly affixation, base formation and abbreviation. From a syntactic point of view, the language of advertising is represented by affirmative, interrogative and exclamatory types of sentences. The main function of the selected occasional words is the nomination of certain products and services. Performing the function of an expressive means, occasionalisms are mostly used to provide a vivid description of the advertising product or service in order to attract the attention of consumers. It has been proved the expediency of using intentionally incorrect spelling of words, the so-called sensational or divergent spelling in the texts of the advertising slogan is considered to be one of the effective ways to attract the attention of modern consumers to the advertising product or service. As an example of an innovative tool in the battle for perspective consumers, the use of numerals and other graphic symbols has been singled out for the potential consumers’ attention, which will help to increase the effectiveness of the advertising slogan and remembering of its new expressive shades,. У статті розкрита історико-краєзнавча діяльність бібліотек Одещини у другій половині 40-х – 80-х рр. ХХ ст. Аналіз цієї діяльності свідчить про те, що незважаючи на великі труднощі (залишковий принцип фінансування культури, і слабку матеріально-технічну базу бібліотек) вони стали справжніми центрами краєзнавчої роботи у регіоні. Бібліотеки нагромадили за цей період значну бібліографічну базу з питань краєзнавства, набули великого досвіду в роботі з історикокраєзнавчих досліджень. Практично у кожній бібліотеці було зібрано краєзнавчий фонд, створено каталоги й картотеки, що включали численні матеріали з різноманітною краєзнавчою тематикою. Втім, краєзнавча діяльність бібліотек області потребує подальшого поглибленого вивчення, адже на той час вони, виступаючи регіональними інформаційними центрами, займалися пошуком, збереженням і наданням у суспільне користування краєзнавчої літератури. На розвиток бібліотечного краєзнавства в регіоні негативно позначилися ті загальні тенденції суспільного життя, що випливали з самого характеру існуючого тоді тоталітарного режиму. Щербина Н. Ф.
