The article presents professional competencies as an important component in the professional &#13;
training of future trainers-teachers of fitness in higher education institutions. The purpose of the work &#13;
is to substantiate professional competencies in the professional training of future trainers-teachers in &#13;
fitness in higher education institutions. The effectiveness of the use of professional competencies in &#13;
professional activities is ensured by a combination of medical-biological, social-humanitarian and &#13;
psychological knowledge from sports and pedagogical disciplines. The learning process is based on &#13;
integrative interdisciplinary links, unity and interconnection of sports and professional and &#13;
pedagogical improvement of physical and mental abilities with the use of modern information and &#13;
communication technologies, cooperation of teachers and fitness trainers, development of &#13;
international relations and cooperation. The use of modern educational technologies, special &#13;
computer programs in combination with traditional forms of professional training provides an &#13;
opportunity to increase the effectiveness of training. In the case of the use of such training in the &#13;
formation of professional competencies, almost all students are involved in cognitive activities, &#13;
constant exchange of knowledge. At the same time, information and communication technologies  almost naturally combine methods and means of learning and data processing. During the implementation of the tasks of experimental work we developed model of pedagogical &#13;
system for teaching students motor actions in powerlifting, which includes the purpose, tasks, stages, &#13;
methodological support, as well as principles, patterns, pedagogical conditions required for formation of &#13;
special skills and abilities. The model was based on the structure of physical education with the teaching,  educational and health-improving functions. The developed model is based on the principles of  environmental compliance, consciousness and activity, regularity and gradualness, repetition and clarity, as  a necessary condition for successful learning. Introduction of a model of pedagogical system of learning  motor actions in powerlifting in physical education process contributes to the acquisition of special  knowledge, skills and abilities by students.

The article describes the model of a methodical system of fitness technology usage in the student &#13;
physical education process. The structure of the author’s model consists of motivational-target, content organizational, technological and control-diagnostic blocks. The target block is formed by the purpose, tasks, &#13;
functions, system of knowledge and skills, the structure of physical training, which aims at the formation of &#13;
harmoniously developed highly qualified future specialists. The content-organizational block is based on the &#13;
general didactic and partially didactic principles, and also meets the criteria of selection of the means and &#13;
forms of fitness technologies. The foundation of the technological block is the educational-methodical &#13;
complex in the discipline "Physical education" (lectures, practical, consultations, independent lessons, &#13;
manuals, methodical recommendations, sets of tasks, means for self-preparation, test complexes, evaluation &#13;
criteria of students in physical education, etc.). It is the technology of teaching physical education that &#13;
reveals the conditions for the functioning of the methodical system, that is, in our case, the planned use of &#13;
fitness technology to ensure the fulfilment of physical education tasks. The control-diagnostic block provides &#13;
for monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the use of fitness, which allows checking the formation of &#13;
the target, content, organizational and technological blocks of the methodical system.
